Default ABS/ASR lights

My 92 is showing ASR and ABS lights. I checked my codes and I am getting a H64,72 & 83, low brake fluid, TPS and not sure what the other one means. My brake fluid level is good does this mean the sensor on the reservoir is bad ? What the odds of the TPS failing at the same time? Thanks!

The brake fluid level can be only a 1/4" low from the top of the reservoir and those lights will come on during hard braking. Is the brake level at the FULL line? Might want to fill to just above that line to see if that solves the problem.

It is a little above the line. Could the ASR affect the ABS simultaneously ?

ASR is a function of the ABS module.

I checked the volts on TPS and .515 idle 4.12 WOT with a smooth transition. Is it possible the ASR issue caused the TPS code. I would think if the TPS is acting up it would show at all times and not be intermittent?

The code 64 for TPS is a history code so not necessarily cause. 83 low brake fluid adding fluid hopefully corrected it. The 72 is serial data fault that's the likely condition causing the problem. check connections and grounds for ABS/TCS module. You will need FSM to diagnose this code.

Would a gear ratio change 3:55 TO 3:73's without correcting the speedo gears yet cause this? It's a 92-4l60 and seems to be 5-10 mph off (shows faster then actual speed) but I would think it would be on all the time if this was the causing also I had done I gear swap in the past 3:07- 3:33's and had no issue before replacing speedo gears. I checked my motor grounds and will clean wheel sensors next.

I believe that the CODE 64 isn't a TPS on the throttle body error but a TPS MODULE (mounted right side @ the blower housing) error that the ECM sees as a signal error. 8A-201-3 for location. Diagnostics are scattered in various areas of the FSM. 5E & 8A primarily I'd think. I don't have an ASR car -

I believe someone just last week found wiring issues at the connector.

Do you have any issues with the car idling high when the ABS/ASR lights come on? I had an intermittent issue ABS/ASR issue that also coincided with high engine idle on my 95. It all went away when I swapped out the TPS.

No issue with idle and my TPS checked out good.
