Brake pad preference?
I have a 1991, basically stock; the pads are good but they exhibit some fading I'm not crazy about and I'm thinking some of that may be not that they're worn, but that they're old. I drive this about 3,500 miles/yr (car just went over 60K) and drive pretty conservatively. So, when I get pads, do I go to GM parts, or perhaps aftermarket; if so what brand? I used Ferodo's on my race car (I had a dragster) and loved their performance and wear. I am completely open to suggestions!

You drive pretty conservatively, have good brake pads, and still get brake fade? Does not make sense to me unless... there is an existing problem with the brakes that no brand of pads will fix.
