A/C Compressor issues
I drove the car for 2 days, just braking it in after all the work. Today, I pushed the car a little bit and when I stopped at the stop light the smoke was coming out from under the hood. I pulled over and I see the A/C compressor under higher RPMs start spitting on the front this black rubbery mess around. I was told the car had a brand new A/C compressor installed few months ago and it seems like it's new. The compressor and the stickers look brand new. The Brand is Denso 471-0335. What do you think went wrong with the compressor and can I fix it myself or do I've to take it somewhere to be fixed, maybe a new one? I've no info where was it purchased, no receipts...
Also one more thing. Now my outside temperature also shows 108 degrees when it's only 80 degrees outside... Where is the temperature sensor so I can check if it's covered with the mess it's coming out from the compressor?
Thx-

If the Gap is too close the clutch does not fully disengage (Overheat) If the Gap is too large The clutch will either fail to engage, or overheat to a point that it destroys it-self.
The gap should be somewhere around .020" (about the thickness of a business card) double check with your FSM
