I've had my engine out way longer than I thought.
Consequently , I've forgotten
Things!
All the ground wires hanging down by the bell housing, do they all go on that one stud near the top of the bell housing?
I also have a much bigger ground hanging down.
Where does that one go?
Thanks in advance!

It's hard to believe you tackled this without a FSM - every issue you've mentioned (what I've seen), a FSM would have maybe saved you money.

The grounds that connect to the stud should all be in the conduit from the engine harness except maybe a braided strap. There's also a stack of grounds that attach to the ground position above the filter location near temp/oil life monitor connector that should exit the conduit in one spot. They should reach one position or the other. You might search the CF for G107 & G106.

Yes

That sounds like the negative battery cable. It goes on the side of the block above the oil filter.
