1984 c4 no exhaust system
I was driving and my exhaust broke before the cat, so I tried using putty weld for the meantime until repairs and it worked for a couple days till I noticed the car became hotrod loud again anyway I check and my system isnt under the car... so its basically got nothing except a foot or two of exhaust pipe, can this cause any issues?

O2 sensor may have a hard time doing its closed loop thing, with fresh oxygen being much closer. Other than that & what AF2 mentioned (and sounding like a WW2 tank), the case of the missing exhaust shouldn't break anything else by itself. May want to look under and see what the busted end is heating directly above it, though.
