no go on vette2vette, would an 84 dipstick work looks the same, I'm assuming it must be a different length. seems the 84, 95 and 96 use the same one.

The part # of the stick that you need is "ON THE STICK" - take that part # to eBay or any of the salvage that you might like!!

You don't need any Summit or anyone else's universal "contraption" Leave it "on the shelf" so AF2 won't have any trouble finding it when he wants the Summit contraption!

10108430 for a '90 I'd think. You want nothing to do with the one that's on eBay now. Post a WTB here in the parts section!!

What a pita you are today wrong time of the month again? I already told him about junkyards and for less than ten bucks. He can have something from summit or many other places to keep him from him from burning oil and possibly his car. So take a

Well that spray is crankcase pressure, smoking would mean something like blow-by. A new dipstick may still be push out if there is too much pressure and you can get locking dipsticks but the pressures gotta come out somewhere, so gaskets will start to leak n such.

Course that is worse case scenario, hope it just needs a sealing dipstick.
