Default 1989 Corvette Coilovers

I know that it has been asked before but I still do not know exactly how the answers pertain to the 1989 Corvette. I really want to have a fully independent susspension and have an easy way to adjust ride height. What in y'all's opinion is the best coilover set up for the '89? And what if anything do I need to modify and reinforce in order to run coilovers i.e. Shock mounts, chamber braces. Thanks for the help.

Street for now but I'd like to get it on the track. And all the way around. It would be cheaper to just fronts but I also like the idea of being able to control ride height.

The rear is easily adjustable using longer bolts so you can concentrate on putting coil overs on the front first.
how much do you want to spend ?

at that budget you would be restricted to oil shocks but you could go double adjustable at around $250 each plus $100 for a pair of springs.

if you want to lower the front end as much as possible (within reason) you will need shocks with no more than 9.5" compressed height.

and they do a shorter one

but Flaming river dont come with top caps or the washer the lock them in, so thats extra too, but it does mean you can get the angled cap, which is a must to fit the coil over in the vette tower.

its tough finding a QA1 in 9.5" compressed with stud/bar ends, but your welcome to try, I did email them and they dont really have anything.

if you use a bearing/bearing set up then use a stud/bar converter fittings you are soaking up compressed height.

Then there is the swaybar tower, on a budget people bend the tower outwards to clear the coilover.
