Default Cross fire guys

I am having a problem with my 84 falling on its face in the upper rpm range. I have noticed for the last couple thousand miles (it has 73K) it seems the injectors are louder (though the last couple thousand have happend over about two years). Can you hear the injectors tick on your crossfire cars? Also any other thoughts as to what could be causeing it? Sometimes it feels like its missing out in the mid range too.

Ya I can here my injectors clicking away happily, as far as I know this is normal for a crossfire. Mine has 223,000 km on it now, so I wouldn't worry to much about the clicking. As far as falling flat on it's face at upper rpm that is a fact of life with crossfires due to the poor casting of the intake and the really small ports in the heads. Check out the crossfire injection vault at:http://www.crossfire.homeip.net:81/cftest/startdefault.asp

Ticking???hmmm Remember Capt. Hook and the Crock story? ...Quick look behind you... ...Yes the ticking in normal, mine does it all the time. Did you know about the crossfire site? Lots of FAQs and Tech there.
