Default CARBED L98 ????

With the TPI so restrictive on the L98 is there a carbed set up for the L98, I'm not concerned with emmisions. What computer work would need to be done, and what kind of of power could be made with a stock lower half?

people have done it, you will gain horsepower, however most of us look to the superram or miniram setup to keep the excelent fuel injected drivibility, increased MPG and all the other neat features injection offers. the 1984 is the car most people do carb swaps on since the crossfire just sucks for making power. since you have a 1985 you have quite a few aftermarket options. one of them is a VERY worked setup i may be parting with soon, it's a edelbrock base, SLP runners and a plenum, the entire thing has been ported and cut also powder coated red, comes with ford 24lb injectors and fuel rails, a stock regulator as well as an adjustable one, gaskets and probably a throttle body. either a stock or 52mm depending on which one i use on my engine. price? still undecided but probably between 600-750

a carbed L98 can make alot of hp, like any SBC that came before it all the way back to the muscle car era

you just lose fuel mileage with a carb
