Default Over the winter mods?

I want to start modding my car over the winter. I have some ideas, but what I really need is suggestions/feedback. Here's my setup as of now. 88 Z52 L98 with:
cut air lid
throttle body bypass
no maf screens
no frisbee
tps volts at .62
stock exhaust manifolds
y-pipe without precats
free flow cat
muffler elims
3.07 rear

Basically, it's pretty much stock. My ideas were to port the intake (gasket match), LT4 Hotcam, torque converter 2000-2400 stall. Will these benefit my motor? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I see soo many posts on all the above with good feedback, but need info for my application. :chevy

Oh yeah, forgot to add fuel pressure set at 47.

A good cam and head porting will give you about a 50CHP gain.

A 2,000rpm TC with a shift kit will realy enhance driving; with your gears a 2,400rpm TC will make hookup a real issue without DRs.

With those mods you might want to consider a siamese base to improve high rpm breathing too.

You've got mail on some mods results including heads and cam.

i would suggest the Accel 211 cam if youre staying with TPI, not the hotcam.

With the Accel 211 will I probably have to get a custom chip burned so it idles correctly. I have a extra ADS Superchip that I took out (did nothing), I thought I remembered reading somewhere that it could be reprogrammed. If not, no big deal. Thanks again.

I think only certain chips can be reprogrammed, so i'm not sure if that one can or cannot.

But you will need a chip made anytime you change the cam.

Man, I new someone was gonna rub in the "winter thing". Here in Chi-Town vettes don't go anywhere but sideways during those months. The good part is, since I don't drive my car during the "winter", I can do mods knowing the car is gonna sit anyway. I really hate putting it away though :cry . I wish I lived somewhere warmer. Thanks for reminding me :jester .
