To sum up the vid the guy basically cut out the front of the engine air filter box to allow a bit more air to go through. No.. this isn't one of those dumb "HP gainz!" thread lol I want to know if this will increase the engine sound? I'd like to hear more of it in the cabin when the windows are up
Also, saw another video that said I should clean things up when replacing the engine air filter. Any real good throttle body cleaner or cleaner for the intake you guys recommend or are they all mostly the same?

I really didn't notice any difference until I put a ported edelbrock intake on. It now sounds like a wind tunnel.

I have serious doubts it will. Even the K&N stuck on the end of the TB of mine didn't do much other than let me hear the hissing sound and that is because I have a hood scoop.
Brake cleaner and a new set of gaskets or don't bother. You need to take the IAC off, the TB off, disconnect the coolant hoses, take the IAC housing off, take the top plate off and clean all the passages, IAC housing and gently spray the pintle of the IAC. Reassemble with new gaskets.
