I have just changed the motors on the headlights. I did not have one of the assemblies perfectly flush with the hood. What is the best way to make it flush. ( I have adjusted it but it goes back to the original position)
What did you adjust? Some people think turning the **** will adjust the headlight position. It won't.
The stops are at the top and bottom (front and back) of the headlight assembly.
The large hexagonal plastic thing is the stop for the closed position:
Note that the leading edge of the headlight cover should be slightly below the level of the hood to avoid getting rock chips. Also, the trailing edge should be slightly above the hood opening so it won't get chipped.
