The SCAN/TUNE along with the NITROUS/FI sections were mixed/combined with TECH/PERF a few months ago and the CF mentioned the "lack of use/few posts" as the reasoning. Reasonable conclusion? Likely but it does make just "browsing" threads/topics that are related a little more difficult.

well that is a bummer....i havent been on the Tune board lately cuz i am working on my F-body tune......seems like if it had low use, they could still keep it......how hard is it to maintain? i didnt see the memo......seems like they should take the links out of the "Community" section. agree, searching/browsing will be more difficult.....

I believe the "LEAVING IT IN THE COMMUNITY" a wise move so as to avoid multiple questions and aggravation after. There were many questions when they were first combined. Marketing I'd think plays a role in the "management".
While I understand that OBD1 tuning is a practice that has long departed the current scene it is none the less still an important aspect to the C4 L98. I just feel that it should have remained in the C4 section. At least theres thirdgen.

"long departed the current scene".................? our cars have not long departed, they are still there.......i been a member of TGO since '99. So that is where i learned my OBD1 tuning mostly.......moving up to a C4 was considered a step up in my ride!

I didnt say that C4's are no longer around. I meant that the top tuners, and nearly every corvette performance shop has evolved with the current platforms. Most dont even bother with OBD1 anymore. Which is why I feel its important to have a section here for the people that still do or people that want to learn. I referenced TGO because they still deem the information relevant, unlike here, it seems.
