Default Connecting Rod Identification

I'm trying to identify some connecting rods in an engine I purchased a while ago. I called a few rod manufacturers, but none were able to help. Here's what I know:
  • H-beam
  • 5.7"
  • 99% sure they're forged
  • ARP 8740 cap screws
  • No identifying marks aside from stamped 3 to 4 digit number (different on each rod)

I though you posted in other thread this stuff was SCAT? SCAT does use those particular bolts in some of their H beam rods.

Just your typical generic imported H Beam rod. Probably CAT, RPM or Pro Comp Elect depending on when it was built. It's not an Eagle, Scat, K1 or Molnar. The shoulder profile is totally wrong.

The crank is SCAT, and I assumed the rods were too until I looked into it.

Alright, still haven't been able to track down who made the rods, but I called ARP and they gave me a generic spec of 75 lb-ft. for a 7/16" thread diameter 8740 bolt using their special moly lube. I guess with nothing better to go on I'll use that.
