Does anybody know where I could find the grommets for pcv valve and breather tube. Also an oil filler cap. All sites seem to skip 85's

the factory style oil cap for early L98 engines is long discontinued. there is a GM replacement available, but it looks like the old style, 1/4 turn, metal cap. try ac delco p/n 12C19. the sites I see, say both, compatible and non-compatible for an 85 corvette. another number may be FC104, but i'm not sure if that's compatible for an 85 either. original style caps most likely are available as used parts only. the 90°elbow grommet for the RH cover, breather tube is discontinued, and I have yet to find a suitable replacement. the PCV grommet for the LH cover/PCV valve is available as GM part number 10240678. parts for the 1985 model L98 are getting harder and harder to find OE replacements.

WVZR-1 is pretty much the parts wizard here - maybe he can chime in with alternate part numbers.

Check you auto parts store for them. I think Dorman still sells them IIRC and probably find at Oreilley or Autozone. Worst case, check ebay.

General Motors, GROMMET, 3989350 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008Y9EPLO..._TNUJxbJXVJRX7 http://www.ecklerscorvette.com/corve...1970-1981.html

The oil fill cap you are probably going to have to find used.

I am not sure if grommets from a 1990 will fit but I just order these off ebay.

If you bought what is a "quality" replacement post brand and part # for others to maybe consider. The vent to the RH VC would be very difficult to do and replicate OE/GM but I believe there are solutions for proper venting.
