1990 Vett Analog Gauges

1990 Vett Analog Gauges
Last night on my way home the water temp guage started dancing for a couple of seconds and dropped down to the 100 degree mark. The Temp sensor is ok and I can monitor the engine temp on the air conditioner display. Has any of you had to repair one of these? Is it possible?

Analog Gauge sensor is possibly bad.
Tha AC unit uses the same one the ECM uses. The ECm sensor is at the front of the Intake. The Gauge Sender is located between Cyl 6 and 8 on the Passenger side Head
