Traction Control on 92
Is it possible to reprogram whatever part of the computer that defaults the Traction Control to on? Can it be reversed to where it defaults to off? Or can it be disabled completely? I'd rather just be able to default it to off instead of disableing it. Am I the only one that gets tired of hitting that button every time I start the car to turn it off? :U

Not that I am aware of. Let us know if you find something. Closest I found was a relay circuit for F bodies that did this from TPIS. It doesn't work with ours unfortunately.

SLP makes one for the F-body, but I haven't seen one yet for us.
It isn't that hard to hit the switch off, I'd rather have it default on for those times when you may actually need it.

Yes, very simply. Open your hood and on the driver's side engine bank is a small black box marked "ASR". The throttle servo goes into it as well as a plug with wires. Pull that plug and zip-tie it safely out of harms way. This will disable ASR. However, it will raise a warning light on your information console. Solve this by putting very small piece of black tape over it and then buying one of those smoked glass information overlays from Mid America and all will be well again. I disabled my ASR in this manner over 40,000 miles ago and the car performs perfectly. If you want it back, just plug it in again.
