intake leak help
I recently did a smoke test on my 86 vette.. found two leaks, one is no biggy, its the lower intake runner or cold start injector.. i have a new gasket and oring.. so that one will be fixed tonight no biggy.. but the other one has me scratching my head..
its leaking from the Throttle position sensor on the throttle body...
every TPS ive ever replaced went over a rod sticking out of the throttle body..
does anyone know how that rod seals in the throttle body, or how i take this apart? is it a gasket or oring? any thoughts would be helpful.
