Interior temp control buttons
My 1987 convertible interior temp control has a warmer and cooler buttons. with a/c at 80 degree it will go to 81 but not 79. Right now I am stuck with 81 degrees. Do I need to swap out this button control unit for a working one? Or is there some other problem? If swap is needed is there an online instruction available?

You need to take the HVAC control head apart and clean the button contacts.
