Default Installed Edelbrock Pro-Flo XT

I just finished installing this manifold. No hood clearance problems. I bought an ls1 throttle body on ebay with sensors, the ls1 throttle body sensors only require a pigtail change. It does require a small cap distributor which I had already had. It has a bracket for an ls1 MAP sensor, I already converted to speed density with my EBL Flash. Now I just need a little bit of tuning for a lean spot off idle, other than that it runs really good. I'm happy with it so far.

It has a hotcam and fastburn heads, 10.76 CR. 1 3/4 LT headers. I bought the car 12 years ago with no motor. I had a vortec truck motor with a modified lt4 intake. I never had a TPI on it so I can't compare them. It pulls ok above 1k and comes on strong above 1.5k. Really strong above 4k up to my rev limiter at 6.2k.

Nice to know this intake fits under the hood. A little off topic, but how are you liking the ebl flash?

I have a 6 speed. There is a company that makes an adapter plate to use the stock l98 throttle body. Then you can use the stock throttle cable too. I used a longer Lokar cable made for the ls1 throttle body.

I like the ebl flash. The open loop ve learn with a wide band gets your fueling close really fast. I load several bin files adding one or two degrees timing each time and switch between them while driving. It does everything I need it to do. With no maf sensor I ran a 4 inch tube from the throttle body to the sheet metal fabricated air filter housing, no restriction.

This picture doesn't show it well, but my throttle bracket has room for the throttle cable and two others (could be cruise control or tv cable). I have been running this for decades and possibly was a holley part back then.

Very astute. I assumed the Edelbrock used the same throttle cable.
