Last night I stomped the gas going through some turns. all of a sudden she quits on me. The engine is still running but when you gas it, no power. I can still drive it, but whenever you press the gas more than a 1/4 way down, no power, no rpms, like its dead.
Sounds to me like you might have snapped one of the 300 throttle cables on the car. Damn ASR! Does the pedal feel soft, or hard, or what? Start it up and try to manually open up the throttle body. If it rev's up like it's supposed to than you've got a linkage problem somewhere.

HELP ME PLEASE!!
Ok, if you have it in park (or nuetral) and give it gas, does it come up to a certain RPM and quit climbing or does it drop back down to idle? We need more details :yesnod:
A while back I noted my instant mileage readout was going down. A few minutes later it started acting like you describe. In my case my fuel pump had died.
All right! Everyone have a laugh on me! A few weeks ago I recharged the K&N air filter. As soon as I popped the hood I realized what a dumba@# I am. I think I overtightened the clamp on the air intake duct. when I stomped it the duct disconnected from the air filter housing. the clamp nearly pinched the duct closed. NO AIRFLOW!
