Default Lt1 w/lt4 hotcam rebuilt 355 dyno tune

Hey guys,

Finally getting my 96 c4 ce dyno tuned using a dynojet put in Huntington Beach by Steve at powertrain Dynamics. The LT1 has block redone and is .30 over making it now a 355. I installed the Hotcam, 1.6rr, Compcam Pushrods, lunati beehive valve springs, GM extreme duty timing chain, new lifters, and pacesetter mid length headers, and a 2500 stall converter. Wish me luck and I will post results as soon as I am done. Heads are stock but redone with 3 Angle Valve job Appointment is at 1pm pst. Fingers crossed

Default 323 rwhp 335 rwt uncorrected

Pulled 323 best pull with 335 torque uncorrected on a hot, humid socal day. Mind you I have cats, and automatic car. Did pretty good...big *** jump from baseline pcmforless terrible tune. PCMfor less got me running extremely lean and was pinging. It was pulling timing and robbing power. I'm so glad I did this. Everyone, mail order tunes are garbage

Is the PCMforless tune shown on the sheet? Overall it looks pretty good for the work that was done.

Ya run one was Keith's tune from pcmforless. You can see the a/few and how it was lean. Thanks for replying bro!

It looks like the numbers would be corrected up by 2% based on the J607 standard. This was calculated from the numbers printed on the bottom of your dyno sheet.

Thanks bro! Got a question for you since you seem really knowledgeable....I currently have the stock diff that came with my car....it's a D36 with 3.07 rear end. I want 3.55s in this bad boy but I'm confused about the carrier 2 and 1 or whatever...can't find out info on if I can just pop on new ring and pinion and be done with it....or is it a pain

Do you want to sell the 3.07 or are you going to use the D36 and change gears?

Don't forget that the D36 is not as strong as the D44 BUT Zip Corvette sells those modified covers that turns it into a mini-D44. (caveat there is some installation machining needed on the bearing support blocks).

One of these covers is in the future for my car.
