No doubt, I totally agree FIC is likely a better place to get them (I have a set myself). I was just looking for what other places recommended for his expected HP output.
Jon is a good guy and has helped me along the way with my C4. :-D
I believe the TPIS ones are design 2 and these are design 3. Not totally sure.
You are thinking they are cores that are cleaned, flowed and tested? Would it make much of a difference?
The cleaning and flowing is an indication that one has not currently failed. If returned for being defective generally all are sent back so not a series of changing one at a time. When something like injectors are made they come off the line and put on a pallet and when installed come off the pallet and installed in cars/trucks etc. from top down off the same pallet. They may be repackaged but the same thought on that as well there is no mixing from one to another. When you have a defective part that fails early it makes the rest of the batch questionable. The interesting and unknown piece of information is what percentage failed a clean and flow test.

Agreed. It tells you that it isn't in failure if you flow it and that your cleaning actually did something unlike the snake oils which is a guessing game.
Correct again. Unfortunately there are too many cheap idiots that only want to replace that one failed item like a lifter where there are quite a few others that could fail. Then they have to do it again when the next one happens. I just laughed at my neighbor that has to pull the manifold off again. I mean, only one failed, right? Why spend the money to fix all 16?
Not sure myself. I wish there was a way to find out.
sooo ive gone back and forth and done soo much reading my head hurts
im shying away from the edelbrock as it looks like its a tonne of work to make it fit properly.
ive been looking at the SDPC and thinking its the way to go, but heres somthing i thought of, does anyone still make the high flow runners?
ive been ordering the cosmetic stuff i need to fix on the car first before i start ordering the big stuff. (new window sweeps for driver side, got the new ujoints coming.)
It does fit my needs but just about tripples the cost. Simply because i live in canada so our dollar is terrible. Otherwise its the one to get. If the dollar comes up some ill be more inclined to get it.

I have not ive checked with ny local places (lordco etc etc). I can get the edelbrock xtflopro intake but after alot of research it seems it doesnt necessarily fit properly in the corvette and trying to get the throttle body to fit and such for an auto are difficult to do.
