Long story so please bear with me. 1987 Vette just died while driving the other day, just went dead. Getting, spark, turning over but simply not getting fuel. We ran through everything and came to the conclusion that it had to be the fuel pump. Bought an OEM pump from GM dealer (very expensive but I want OEM in this car) and installed it properly, it's still dead in my garage. Checked the wire leads to fuel pump and they are showing amperage. We checked all the pump fuses, the one in the fuse box inside passenger side, the one under the hood (even opened up behind the info center on dash and checked that pump fuse!!) The relays were tested with meters and they check out fine...I'm at a loss and prefer not to spend 1000.00's of bucks taking it to a dealer or GM shop to get it fixed. Help!!!
I'm assuming that you can't hear the fuel pump running - ever.
Try putting power directly to the pump by pulling the fuel pump relay and putting a jumper lead (I'd suggest using a fused jumper lead) from the battery pos terminal to the switched side of the connector (which runs to the fuel pump). If that makes the fuel pump run - you need to figure out why the power isn't getting to the relay ... If the pump doesn't run with that either you have a bad ground with the pump - or a broken wire in the pos supply to the pump.
I'll try all these suggestions...will advise ASAP with results..Thank you!

You need to test for fuel pressure at the rail. Get a fuel pressure gauge and attach to the Schrader valve on the passenger side fuel rail. With the key on, you should have 36-42 PSI at the rail.
Kimmer is asking you to check the injectors, because you could have pressure but if the injectors are not operating you will get no fuel. Ohm all the injectors. Also check the injector fuses in the fuse box.
