FX3 Shock replacements

FX3 Shock replacements
I am looking at replacing the FX3 shocks on the Vette. I have a couple options, but would like input from someone that has done this.
1. KYB Gas shocks
2. Bilstein Z-51's
Which do you prefer? I don't drag race, I don't autocross.... I drive for pleasure.

Are you looking to still use your Selective Ride Option? If so, you must either replace your shocks with the same kind or have them refurbished from Bilstein. I'm in the same predicament as you. I have the FX3 option and just found out my rear shock are blown and the front ones appear to be on their way out soon. I never touch my ride selection, so I'm leaning towards disconnecting the main actuator and replacing all four shocks with something less expensive, yet retain good ride comfort and handling.

I would just as soon have it less complicated and go with a non-selective shock. I will keep the adjustable shocks, maybe even have them repaired some time later but for right now, I would just as soon make my life a little less "complicated".

if the rest of the system seems to be in good working order, i would send the shocks to bilstein and have them fixed. from what i hear, it's about $100 a shock and IMHO, you'll end up with a better system.
