Well, got the old panel out and put the replacement in. Tested before putting all back together and so great to see a bright and readable LDC display.
Then , started putting all back together and when pushing the steering column up, a 5 bladed relay fell to the floor. Went ahead and bolted up the steering column. Then got a mirror and light to hunt where that relay may have come from and why it just fell like that. Nothing found. So Start the car up and check signal lights, go to check radio and it's dead. Looked some more and no seeing anything that the realy hooks up to.
Enuff for the day, Tomorrow, I'll drop the steering column again and look up there. Got to be controlling the radio I'm pretty sure.
There are a bunch of relays below the right side of the instrument panel.
Thank you! I'll drop the steering column again in the morning so I can see that area better. I've pretty much covered the left side of the panel and finding nothing to plug it into there.
what was wrong with the OLD LCD?? Want to sell it?
Have it sold already. It was getting pretty near unreadable and the clear plastic cover was pretty bad also. Thanks for the interest though.
Now to find out where that radio relay plugs into under there. It got knock loose and fell to the floor when I was putting the column back up. Sigh!
'95 relay arrangement vicinity of the under cluster/IP left side should be this.
If you've the FSM for the car check the 8A-201 section for component location images. That section of the FSM is quite valuable when doing most anything - try left of column for the DAB relay missing first. I'd doubt the lowering of the column required.

Thanks, Have that page marked in my FSM. I did a pretty good study on it last night. Today, other activities filling the day plus need a day or two for the back to recover so maybe tomorrow I'll get back at it in the morning with a fresh mind and back. LOL.
Just took these pics this morning to help on my next study.
That relay part # I believe does the DAB, REAR DEFOG and START ENABLE. I don't believe that part# does the CRUISE - you should only have 1 blank!! The back recovers I'd say you're all set.
