Hi guys!
Got a 84 C4 whic I have struggled with. Bought it not running, and did a lot of searching before I found a faulty gaspump. Thats new, and the car starts.
But only the passangerside injector works. I bought a noid-light set, and the drivesrside injector is not turning the light on the noid. No pulse. Any tips on where to start searching?
Thanks

Do you have 12v on one of the (non working) injector connector terminals?

Assuming you mean if there is power comng to the faulty injector?
If so- no, I can not see there is any power coming to it. The noid is backing that thery up I guess.
If you mean something else, I am sorry- Norwegian, so might get a little lost in translation.
Thank you antfarmer. Yeah, I have checked the fuses. They are, sadly, okay... :/
Well there is a good starting point see if there is power there and look for a Norwegian rat.
If you have power to one of the injector harness and you hook up a noid lite and cranking engine over and the lite doesn't flash-The computer ground driver circuit is defective.

Did you check the fuses w/a meter? Some times just looking at them can getcha!

The noid light isn't a proper test. You should have power TO the injectors all the time, key on. ECM grounds the injectors to fire them. So, it's possible that the noid light won't light b/c no ground through the ECM....but injector has power. Test for power at the injector plug using a volt meter connected to ground. If you have power, you know your fuses are good, and the problem is on the ground/ECM side. If no power, you need to trouble shoot back to fuse panel.
Okey!
Thanks guys. I have been hesitant to use a voltmeter on the harness leading up to the injector, cause i thought i read somewhere that it could mess up something.
So I can just go ahead and measure if there is power to the injector then.
Should say the noid works on the other injector that is working.
Just shove the measuring sticks , yeah thats good english right there...but the pins, one red and one black. Just put them in any of the two holes of the injectorplug then? Or just one pin in there, and the other connected to something grounded?

Yep!

No, put your red pin/probe into the hole of the injector plug, then touch your other to ground (any clean metal on the engine). You should see voltage on your meter...with the key on. If not, try your red pin/probe in the other hole of the injector plug.

I think that you're doing O.K. Keep going.
There are two holes on the plug, right? Doesnt matter which hole i plug the probe into? :p sounded good....again.
