Hi all, I've some question about an LT1 engine took from a '93 Greenwood C4. I tested the electrical continuity between the injectors and I found that they are in parallel! It means that the ECU sends the same signal to every 4 injectors on the same side. Is this correct? How can work?
I've another problem. This engine is without ECU. For LT1 I found that exist this one:
Top image is for a '94+ which is SFI & PCM, the other is for a '93 or earlier which is " BANK batch-fire" and an ECM.
The '93 is "BANK batch-fire" as you found out.
The later '94+ SFI was thought to be maybe an earlier change in preparation for the OBD2 requirement. '94+ cars got the 16 PIN ALDL but '94 & '95 were OBD1.
***There are many good/interesting reads explaining the scheme of each, many are in this C4 section. Others are certainly out there in the "rest of the web"!!
