Smoke Plumes: Now with Video!
After my optispark adventures I thought I could at least drive the car. No such luck.
Once it gets hot I get smoke plumes pouring from the left side of the engine. It's oil hitting something hot, I assume the header?
I thought it was the dreaded manifold leak but I can't see any oil dripping from the back of the manifold.
Where else is it likely to leak, and a lot?
Thanks!

Yes it is.Check valve covers for leaks, sender is below exhaust manifold but could leak onto pipe or cat.

Valve cover gaskets were recently replaced but I will recheck.
I need to check the sender. Is it a common failure point?

Amazing what you can see with a $15 camera.
