X2. You could buy a LOT of replacement optis for one of those (or any of those) conversion solutions.

Likely the only concern might be 'FUTURE SUPPORT', many things come and go. It appears they've got component patents but how dedicated to the 'future' is the company. If they come into a 'better/more profitable' product line that's not related what's next for them?

Could it maybe become less expensive? I'd think maybe if acceptance and product shows promise. If it doesn't then all bets might be off. I doubt there's going to be enough interest(sales) to drive the price down.

How short a run of components were done for R & D? That might be the key. I certainly don't know - it sounds certainly very interesting and a viable option. It's certainly not for everyone but maybe for many/most? Depends I'd guess on someones dedication to the LT1/4 engine.

The 'fine print' included in the POLICIES link on the web-page deserve maybe a good read and then maybe 'read again'.
