KYB on my base model. Rails curves just fine. If I had the Z51 suspension then I'd replace with Bilsteins.

If you are a casual autocrosser and want a nice sport ride on your favorite curvy road I would go with the Koni Single Adjustable "Yellows". If you are just grocery getting, I would go with the Koni "Reds". The Bilsteins off the shelf and the FX3 shocks are too harsh off a ride.

I put a set of the Koni "Yellow Singles" on my 93 Ruby 40th ZO7 back in the 90s and I still love them.

If you're a serious autocrosser and want the best for competition, I would go with the Penskes Triple Adjustable with external reservoirs or the JRIs and have them designed and valved by Mike Maier, Inc. Race with them or race and get beat by them. I am using the Penskes Triples on my 89 Z51 that is no longer a Z51.

Assuming you are from Germany or at least somewhere in Europe 2 quests what did you pay for the shocks there and what currency? Second and off topic the news and more so internet paint a very desparate picture of the bad acts of the so called refugees, wondering how bad it is and tempted to believe very bad.

Would be nice to create a "shock chart for C4's" since it is a common question and item that gets replaced. We can add new mfr. lines as they come out too, there are more options that just the few that usually come up.

I have the FX3, had them rebuilt years ago to the Moracca valving. I felt like the original Performance setting was stiff, but not too stiff on smooth roads. With Moracca the Tour is like the stock Perf. setting, the others are too stiff for the street IMO.
Here is some info on FX3, Bilstein, and the Moracca valving. http://zr1.net/forum/archive/index.php/t-19314.html

At some point will switch to another, probably not use the FX3 system.
Not sure what I will go with, that is why a chart would be good to compare, especially between mfr's. The Bilteins Sport are stiffer than the HD's, the Konis Yellows are stiffer than Reds, but how do they compare to Bilsteins, can the Yellows be softer than REd in softest setting, can they be stiffer the the B. Sports? Are the Reds softer than the B. HD's? Reds VS KYB? etc.
