I wouldnt spend the money on it. There are other ways to pull codes, but i'm not sure of the LT1.
Yes it would cover all trouble codes, which includes all sensors.

On page 4-25 in the MIDAMERICA DESIGNS catalog, there are two options:
1. Grounding plugs for: EMC, CCM, ABS/ASR, FX3, low tire pressure. --$40 American
2. ALDL tool (same category of codes) ---$80 American
Both items were designed by Gordon Killebrew. The ALDL will display history codes, and erase codes without disconnecting the battery. The grounding plugs will not erase codes. (Or you can use a paper clip as a grounding device.)
I would recommend the ALDL tool, just for the convenience provided. It's your budget.
