Default Question About Inner Tie Rods

Hello, I have a 1984 Corvette that I'm preparing to do a driver side inner tie rod end. Does anyone have any tips for replacement or recommendations as to a inner tie rod tool to use? Thank you!

Driver side is easy, with the rack in place. I think I used a cut off tool to remove the flats on the inner end and screwed it off. Used a hammer and punch to flatten the new one. I reused the dust boot because I didnt like way the new one fit.

Thank you. Do you recall what inner tie rod tool you used for the job?

Nothing special. Just normal hand tools. Its easier than the service manuals make it sound.
