Default I have really bad gas.....

So, after some time sitting...Ive ordered a lot of new parts, but decided to start on the basics. Gave the car a tune up and filters...it wont stay running.

Long story short after a process of elimination the gasoline coming off of the fuel rail is white...I know its bad fuel, but what makes it white? My guess is water/moisture?

Anyone dealt with this?

Can I pull the F/P assembly and siphon the fuel and clean/dry out the tank while it is still in the car?

you can pull the hatch off. then the rubber boot. then the pump. then you can suck it out.

the other thing you can do is pull the filter off, jam some hose on the end of the feed line and then jumper the pump with 12v and allow the pump to do the work for you.

If that bad sounds like tank out and cleaned then flush everything with fresh gas well. E10 can make some very evil slime.

That's exactly what the issue is.

I'm going to pull the pump to inspect the sock. I picked up a hand pump, going to drain it and then go from there.

Im not really sure. What is in the water bottle came off the very bottom. The first half gallon was probably like that, the other 14 gallons were just old gas. There was a bolt missing on the filler neck, its always been missing. (I replaced it today) The rubber tray was badly torn as well, allowing rainwater to get in around the neck...soooo?

What was left of my rubber tray bit the bullet on the way out. Where is a good place to find one? Ecklers?

A little startup ****.

Now I remember why it has sat so long. I've already spent $500 on it this week. New brake lines should be here by friday.
