Default 94 Brakes Help

So I have been trying to figure out whats going on with my brakes for some time now. I have an intermittent problem with them beginning to drag after I have been driving around for a while. Today I took it for a ride and decided to get on them hard to see if I could heat them up and cause the problem, I could not.

However,

This time the car would skid. The ABS Active light would illuminate, and I could feel it pulse once, then the car would just skid straight ahead with the front two wheels locked up.

Any help is appreciated.

Clean up your calipers and look at your rubber lines to them best to replace with stainless steel. They will swell up and the brakes will not release.

It sounds like the actuating rod from the booster might be miss-adjusted. If it's too long when things heat up things expand and it will start pressing on the master. Since both wheels drag uniformly, does not sound like one side brake line or caliper.

Unbolt the master and pull it back. There is a rod with a screw coming out of it. You need to hold the outer unit and screw in the adjustment screw IN (CW) about 1/8 inch.

I personally use a long noise vice grips (works best) to hold the outer unit but other things will work as well. Don’t squeeze the outer case to hard just enough to hold it still. Bolt it back up and go for a drive.

It's a trial and error method. You might start the procedure by jacking up one front wheel and see if there is excess drag before you unbolt master. Then adjust and recheck the wheel again to see if there is a difference after bolting master back. Regardless only a drive will tell all.
