My car will occassionaly stall on me when the car heats up (not overheating I mean normal operating temperature). It will turn over but not fire, after letting the car cool down for about 30 minutes it will start right up.
Replaced OPTI, new ICM and coil and had the ECM rebuilt which seemed to have fixed it. I've put a couple hundred miles since then and no issues. But It's been really cold out and I drove it out on a nice 60 degree day and this problem recurred. Could it be it just needs new fuel injectors? The car sat for an extended period in the previous owner's garage, and I've heard this is a common issue with older Chevys like corvettes and camaros.
This is really frusturating because it will just cut out of no where and leave me stranded at random places on the side of the road. Not fun.

When my '93 cut off the way you described, I replaced the ICM and that cured the problem. Never cut off again (right up to the day I traded it). I think you've fixed the problem (with the Opti-Spark being the icing on the cake). I wouldn't worry about being stranded after all that work.
