Default Need to replace power window motor on a 95

Ok I have the door panel off the window is stuck 1/4way up only. I can't even find the motor or a good write up to do this.

Is their anyway to get the window up manually?

I getting ready to sell so I don't really want to pull the window regulator.

Any quick easy way to either raise the window or replace motor?

This is why I have a love hate relationship with this car. They made things so stupid hard. Any other car you take off the door panel and the motor is right their.

I actually love the looks of this car unlike a lot of people but in my old age 55, I just don't have the patience for all the extra work.

So I bought it's replacement and just need to get this fixed so I can get it out of the garage and for sale. I almost ready to take more of the price just so I don't have to deal with this. I'm already going to loose my a$$ on this car. Just don't to go through all the extra work to do things on it.

OK my rants over. I really do love this car just don't want to work on it.

Replacing the motor is quite time consuming. Mine got stuck all the way up. That has happened twice with the passenger side window! It requires taking the inner metal panel also off (the lock mechanism rods take time, especially when assembling, so take your time and some pics while disassembling...)

Some of the attaching bolts are a bit tricky, if you don't have suitable tools, might need some imagination...

First of all Thanks.
Second WOW that is stupid they made that so hard. How long would you consider time consuming 1/2 day?

To bad you aren't local I would pay you to do it.

Seriously considering just selling as is, since I will probably loose my a$$ anyways.

I gutted my early power window motor setup in favor of the later type.

It was not that hard of a job, may have been a little time consuming since i also installed dynomat in the doors while i had it apart.

Just slow down and relax!

I'm selling as I bought another car and am going in another direction.

Since you basically have to give away the C4's now days, I don't know if it's even worth me spending the time to fix it.

Might be something like that. Last time I had to do it was four years ago, so it could be less or more... Depends on how much you have to adjust the window after changing the motor. And, of course, how much experience you have in disassembling and assembling
