Valve float is my concern, looking to turn 7k in standing mile and 1/2 mile events.going to call mike jones cams and get his help before I swap cams.i hear you on the computer upgrade,I still use a gen 6 dfi but it holds a great tune. Good luck
I had tony mamo spec out my cam to my heads. Made exactly what I told him I wanted. drives like a dream but like all things I want more power now so going to call him up next winter for a bigger bumpstick to really get the power down.
The Johnsons are excellent....I use them exclusively for all my builds!
I keep them in stock....limited travel (.093 plunger travel) and short travel (.058 plunger travel). Excellent quality lifter with low internal bleed rates....a true performance lifter and they are very quiet, especially if the rest of your valvetrain is dialed in!
Thanks for the info, i will hit you up if i end up going with a hyd roller. the only negative i see by the internet pro's is the knock on the .700 dia wheel. I would not think that would be an issue on a street grind.

LOL....great post
Not an issue....I have a ton of guys making huge power with these lifters.....power curves that you would think a solid roller was installed in most of them
