Hyper tech chip.
Hello,
Two years ago when I bought 92 vett with stock lt1 45,000 miles . The first three things I did was pull out the k and n filter, take off the throttle position sensor enhancer thing a bob , and remove the hyper tech performance chip. I felt that these gizmos was some kind of joke or something ? I don't know if these so called modifications are worth re installing ? Only thing I changed was an open air filter box. Other then that ? What you get out of the car is what you get from the factory. Anybody have any opinions ?

Cut the ***** off the airbox and you should have better airflow. We did a conical filter (you cannot because of the MAF) and got a few HP more on the dyno, FWIW. The rest of the stuff you mentioned, sell it on ebay to some schmuck who wants $1000 of performance for $50 and hype it up.
