I'm not much of a computer guy, so I have no idea on how to post a video.

I have one video of the car idling on my driveway. I can get a drive-by video later. My home made 3in dual exhaust sounds pretty decent

My Yellow '87 is jealous. Was that the original Yellow shade or a newer C4 color? It's so hard to tell as my '87 color changes significantly in different sunlight. Sometimes it's awesome, sometimes it looks like a week old mustard stain.

it's a poorly done repaint. Whoever did it didn't even cover the molding or door handles.

Mine had one of those in her day as well. The rubber gasket between the high mount brake light is now all yellow and flaking paint. There's a bunch of sloppy clear-coat work as well.

Waiting on ls1 steamtubes before I can bolt the intake on.
Some playing around to get the radiator hoses to work.
Considering using these c5 manifolds and going n/a to get the car on the road sooner until I find a welder.
Some trimming of a truck dbw pedal-needs to be welded but would work with an adapter fabbed up.

Looking good buddy, your getting there hang in there.

Curious on how your going to get fuel to the 5.3L engine?

What heads is on the 5.3L and what cam you running? Mine is 0317 heads and stock LQ9 camshaft. Works awesome. My TV cable for the 700R is sticking a bunch, been shifting the transmission as a manual until I get that figured out.

Best of luck with the car. Your intake manifold is better choice than my current intake manifold as it gets super hot fast.

862 heads with PAC 1218 springs. Just stock cam. If I need more I'll just turn up the boost. Lol
For fuel I've got a boost referenced regulator and Deka 60s.
Thanks-getting there slowly but surely. About to wrap the harness up and the dbw pedal just needs a few welds.
What state are you in? I'd like to have it up for corvettes at Carlisle but with a new job and just started school I'm already pretty busy.

Mines a driver, just working out a few bugs. My header on the passenger side is very close to my fuel line. I ran fuel hose with jic6 fittings from the factory filter to my fuel regulator. The return from the regulator goes back into the return to tank.

I'm running 60psi of pressure as I'm running ls3 EV6 injectors.

I have to put the interior back into the car. You can break the rear tire loose on the 1st to 2nd gear change. I cranked up my line pressure in the 700R to help hold the extra power from the LQ9.

I'm running a stock 85 vette radiator, mostly because I wanted to see how it would at keeping the engine cool. So far, the temperature is at 200 deg's C. I'm currently using 196 deg thermostat. Going to swap to the 160 deg soon, as the engine bay gets to warm under the hood for me.

My head coolant flow (that tinny line at the front of the head) thru line goes to back to my water pump. I just drilled the housing for the 1/8npt and 1/8 barb. You would be amazed on how much flow goes thru there. I had to pour coolant into the top rad hose to get rid of all the air pockets in the engine, as pouring coolant into the standard way will not get any coolant into the engine. LS engine have a thermostat on the inlet to the water pump

What pictures you want? PM me you email address and I can send you a video of the car idling on my driveway. I will have to bug my kid to record me on a drive-by. The exhaust sounds awesome for what I have.

I want to drive my car next week on a 500 mile road trip so I have to get the car bullet proof.

I'm running the 85 vette fuel pump and 85 radiator. All thirty years old stuff.

Cheers buddy.

I used a harness and ecu from psi conversions, the few wire that needed hooked up i pinned into the factory harness plug, I forget the number of the plug but it has 2 two that go into one. I bought the factory pins from mouser electronics, they also have the factory type plug if you don't want to use the one on the old engine harness.

What setup are you using for the 4+3 clutch actuation? Stock slave cylinder and TOB? Also what starter motor used?
Thanks

Taking advantage of the day off by depinning my sensors from the pcm-mounting them where they will be and then I'll be able to see what needs to be lengthened or shortened and finish up the wiring from there. I've decided to mount my pcm under the passenger side dash.
