Mega spaghetti on the floor. Gonna be one fast car buddy. I'm probably gonna put some boost to mine at some point.

My wife told me my car is too loud. My neighbor with the Harley says we are completing to have the loudest vehicle.

Turbine, are you driving the car yet?

Armybrd, You still have the factory coil brackets?

There is a MSD relocation kit out there but its ugly piece. I just bought Holley valve covers. The stock truck coils will bolt to the holley valve cover.

yes but I cut the coil mounts off the valve covers since I'm relocating them.

Turbine, boy that looked like a lota fun. That Ls3 sure sounds sweet.

You have any more pictures of the car? Curious on what you have done to the suspension/wheels and brakes.

Spc front upper control arms, all banski rear control arms, drm camber brackets, ridetech shocks, 373 gear and Eaton true Trac, 1100f arms 550r springs. I have several wheel and tire sets, 17x11 zr1 reps with 315 nto1 for track days, 17x10.5 3pc weaves with 315 slicks for autocross, and 19x11 forgestar cf5v with 305 re71r for autocross. At the time of the video I had some really bad snap overseer I think was attributed with early camber brackets, I was getting over 1.5 deg of neg camber for every inch of compression, I was quiet slow that day.

I put in a 160 deg's thermostat in my car earlier this week, I didn't like my car running at 200 deg's. It get everything pretty hot under the hood. I have my stock puller rad fan set to come on at 175 deg's and the pusher fan at 180 deg's. My coolant temp stays around 185 deg area, on a 80 deg day which surprises me that it works as well as it does.

Did you guys have to do anything to the c4 as far as vats bypass? I know I have to have the ls pcm unlocked but I mean as far as a fuel enable relay or other bypass on the c4.

I don't think my 85 had vats, my new harness had all the fuel pump relay, main relay. I just had to wire the fan relays.

Turbine, how much better is the 3.73 gear vs stock gearing?

I'm liking the 2.73 in my car, the power comes on pretty decently. I'm not racing yet, and will probably at some point will do some track. I'm guessing that the power up probably 1.5X the stock l98 engine.

My 700R transmission slips in second gear now

I did the 373 gear because during autocross you usually stay in second gear and I calculated that at the top of second I would be doing about 75 which puts the power band just right. I just did a track day and it also worked out great for that as well, I was mostly in fourth and downshifting to 3rd for tighter corners. Before the car had a 354 and that was actually a great gear to have for city driving. This is with a zf6

I just looked at my autocross rules for modified cars, they require a roll cage. Turbine, you have a roll cage in the car? I really don't mind the idea of a rear cage, but I also need to have a front cage to be legal. Not sure why I need a cage, as a stock C6 vette has more stuff in it than my car.

Thanks for the rear gear info, the closest road course to me is 2 1/2hrs away. I really wished I had a T-56 in my car, but wow what a pricey upgrade that is.

Your LS3 probably can rev to 6600 rpm's, my LQ9 starts falling off around 5800-6000 rpms. Which is still 1000-1500 rpms more than the stock L98.

What's up guys! Baby steps here...been busy with work, school and life in general. Small update: decided to stay n/a for a little while until I'm able to learn enough welding to fab my own pipes and until I get hp tuners. Just bolted the starter on. Trying to find a hose to attach my stock air cleaner and I'm about to send my pcm out to be unlocked. As for parts just need to order some o2s. Waiting on my brake pads and guide pins so I can throw the c5 calipers on, as well as the u hose for the heater core block off. Wiring is just about done-just gotta wire the fuse block in. Gotta have the manifold welded up-small snafu :/
Anyone know where i can get a hose made for the 3.5 in air cleaner to 4in throttle body?

Congrats buddy. Looking good, man those brakes look sweet.

You going with a weather proof fuse box for the new relays/new LS fuses?

I almost got mine tuned in fairly good. I can burn rubber into second gear very easily. The transmission complains at times.

The stock sized rubber can't hook-up all if you running less than 1/4 tank of gas.

Awesome build buddy. Keep the updates coming.

Appreciate it but I'm not there yet lol
The fuse box is pretty small but should be ok-it'll be behind the battery.
Does your 6.0 have the stock cam?
