I acquired some parts with a project I purchased. The seller told me what he thought some of the parts were, but he was wrong on some of them. I am now trying to confirm whether or not the front upper control arm I have is for a 1984-87 Corvette. It looks like it may be what I was told, but using Google I was unable to match either of the numbers to a specific part. The wishbone piece has the number 3126409 stamped into it and the characters 1 <> R cast into it. The mounting bar has the number 19991 stamped into it.
If anyone can help me positively identify this part using numbers or dimensions, I would appreciate it. I can post pictures if that would help. Just tell me what view is needed to identify it.
For early thru '87 uppers I believe the "flats" of the shaft are parallel to the ground and '88+ the "flats" are vertical to the ground. By flats I mean the surface between the mounting bores to the bolts.

I have several "late" no early - I believe that difference was intentional as an identification procedure in manufacturing. Confirmed? NO
I'll confirm. My '84 has "flats" parallel to the ground (p/n 16371). My right A-arm p/n 3100203. The c-c on the mounting bolts is about 6 3/8" (hard to get an accurate measurement). I believe the later arms have a different c-c.
