After considerable shopping and haggling- it was down to two choices:
Kumho Ecstas stock sizes for $685 from Tirerack (no installation)
Sumitomo HRZ II in larger size 255\40R17 & 285\35R18 Rear for $730 installed and balanced
I read the reviews on Tirerack and everyone seemed to like the Sumitomo. They make Dunlop, its very similar to the SP9000. Everyone also liked the Kumho's, but they only had stock sizes, and I had to do the whole delivery and install thing.
I chose the Sumitomo's, they look really good, nice tread pattern, real smooth and quiet so far, but only have about 5 miles on them! I will update you all after a few days of driving, Auto-x this week, and some burnouts.
Could be a very good value.
I HATED MY GOODYEAR F1 EMT's!!!! AND THE FUTURAS BEFORE THEM FOR THAT MATTER!!!!
I put some BFgoodrich GForce T/A's KDW on my rears recently...I love em. I have heard alot of good things about Kumhos...just put some Kumho supras on my dads car and they work great no complaints.
