L-98 new best times
Yesterday, I went to the track and recorded my new best times. The conditions were good at 65 degrees with a moderate head wind 10 to 15 MPH. I tried my 255/50/16 drag radials from my Firebird and managed to get them to hook up well. My 60 FT times were all mid to low 1.7's with a little bit of tire shake at the launch. My best ET was 12.69 at 106 MPH, I believe the car has 12.50's in it when the wind dies down.
Overall, I was pleased with the results. My car idles at 750 RPM, is perfectly streetable, runs hard. I had quite a few people coming over to look at the stock looking and sounding vette that runs 12's. It was fun!!

Sweet Times, I've been wanting to get the '86 out to the track and see where it's @. I'd freak if I pulled out ##'s like that!

Well done, its nice to see another LTR L98 go into the 12's.
I think theres more in your set up yet, i have gone 107.6 mph on a zz4 cam and similar mods without fine tuning.
