Make notes of the mileage and document it maybe with the invoice from the seller of the CCM.
You didn't mention year or miles so it's difficult to offer up an "is it a service" I want to spend money on. Why did you replace it and what was the mileage?

It might be easiest/least expensive to have the original CCM repaired/rebuilt and keep the mileage "as is". You need to have the conversation before you offer it up to the repair facility. The used CCM also will display the VIN of the car it was removed from. Without a complete clear/delete on a bench with proper hardware it's not possible.

The cluster that displays the speed and mileage was out, couldn't start the car eather. Had car checked out and codes showed up bad ground and other things and was told the CCM was bad. So I ordered one ok eBay, Same part # as my original. My car is a 95 C4 with 94,000 on it but now it has. 134,000 after the replacement CCM. The dealer that help me my friend owns and he told me there is nothing that he can do. (He's a ford dealer).
