I had both sport seats out last Spring and now all controls function properly. I had to use the glove trick, replace both bladders and do a little other R&R but it was worth it.
When I got my vet about a month ago, the driver side bolster wouldn't work. The switch didn'y feel that smooth. Checked the wires under the cushion and had juice to the switch so I decided to order a new on for about $40. While trying to find one to order, I figured I'd take a look at the switch. It came apart pretty easily. There was corrosion on the contacts. Cleaned them up, "snapped" it back together and now it works fine. A little contact cleaner, as Mikez40 say, may do it. Good Luck!
Lifted the switches and found a broken lead on the drivers side, works fine now!!
still problem with pass, side.
I do got juice in two of the four leads coming to the switch,
sprayed some contact cleaner but it didnt help,
Guess that if I got juice in two of the leads, when I push
the button it will simply bring the juice to the other two leads witch goes to the motor... ?? guess its the motor that is broken on that side!!??
When I was in to that, I toked a look at the lumbar support brought the air pump out and replaced the diaphragm "The glove trick"
and it worked exept that I still have a problem with one of the tree bleed controll buttons who doesnt work??!!
Thanks folk for all help!! :)

Re: Side bolster (detto)
Common Problem with the 86 ... The switches get gacked up and no.. Workeee.. Get Some Electronic Contact cleaner Enhancer and pull the switch and blast it. The best stuff to use is called "DeOxit" Made by Caig Labs. It comes in a 5 oz spray can. You might have to look around to find it. Try any electronic supply house.
