Over the past couple of weeks one headlight had been intermittent as to whether it would pop up or not. When it didn't I would just turn the lights off then back on once or twice and it would work again. Well, now that no longer works and I have but one headlight at night now. Any quick fix??? or typical item that breaks??? short of manually turning the headlight up???
Vacuum or electrical?? Anyone else had the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
FRED
It sounds like, since you stated that it has done it before then it would work again, it could just be the plastic gears that are in it. Does it make any clicking noises as you turn it on or off? Listen to hear if the motor is running when you turn it on or off. Not always but typically the gears and or the hard gel that is packed in the center of the gear will go before the motor. You can get both very cheap compared to the motor.

Good Luck :)
If it's the gel adhesive that holds the gears together that’s dried up then it's an easy fix and you won't have to buy the overprices gears from an aftermarket catalog. A few small pieces of delrin rods will fix it permanently. That’s what I used on mine and they work like they are powered by pneumatics. :yesnod:
