Corsa probably has less resonance, but it also sounds way less ballsy.

Buy Corsas. If it's not loud enough for your taste, remove the cats or get headers

[edit] just thought I would add that there is practically ZERO resonance, also the system's fit and finish is top notch [/edit]

I really like the looks of the Corsa, but as for the sound... I wasn't too thrilled when I heard one. They are real quiet at idle and real loud at WOT. But they had a funky sound to them. They probably have the least amount of resonance when cruising.

I've got flowmasters on my car along with long tube headers and an X-pipe. It's wicked sounding but it's pretty loud inside the car. If you don't mind the interior resonance you can't beat the flowmasters for all out aggresive sound.

I've got some sound clips on my web page, go to http://www.wku.edu/~nathan.plemons and click on the 92 Vette. :) I'm afraid my recording medium didn't do justice to the bass note though.

The corsa's are a fine system, but IMHO not worth it. They are very pretty and seem to be well made, but it is a rather funky sound and not worth $1000 in my opinion. For less than $200 I have my flowmaster's installed and it sounds better. The stainless is a very nice pretty touch, but it's all a matter of cost / benefit. For the cost of the corsa's alone you could buy flowmasters & long tube headers and have the rest of your exhaust custom fabricated.

I have the corsas and my friend has the flowmaster.. My preference of course is the corsa. I enjoy the fact that you don't have to listen to the exhaust when you don't want to.. Loud all the time is not fun for long trips.. Just my 2cents.

I can only tell you that I am more than satisfied with my flowmasters, and I always get compliments about the sound. Just the right rumble. :yesnod:

Flowmaster- Mine sound sweet. sure there is some resonance, but it sounds good. and they do make a difference in performance. I am not a member of the "Corsa Club". and I don't play one on TV.

Drive both, and listen to both from the outside. Then choose. I like my Corsa's, but I haven't had anything other than stock. You don't have the resonance issues with Corsa, and you don't **** off your neighbors. I can't speak for flowmaster.

First off mine were $730 including shipping :D Second, they are cheaper than other catbacks such as B&B, Borlas, Tri-Flow, etc.. I've never priced Flows tho. As far as them 'not being worth it', well of course you can achieve the same performance for less dough. Course you could also say Corvettes arent worth the $, as you can just buy a rustang and slap a blower on it and run 10s or whatever ;) My point is that if you like the sound, they are worth every dime.. if not, well I used to have muffler elims which sounded nice and were only $100, but the resonance was killer and got annoying fast. It all comes down to personal preference, listen to each at a car show, etc and decide which one you like.

 SHiney tips, well some people do like the shiney look, look at all the bling bling available. Less resonance. Well I like to be able to listen to my radio on long cruises, or holy cow, talk to my gf in the passenger seat with out yelling. Latest fad......could be worse we could all follow your example and not rebuild a 100K engine correctly

Ok, so I see a Forum here that has gone from a nice place to hang out and learn to a place where no personal opinion goes unpunished.

What happened to you guys? He asked a question. I'm sorry if I don't belong to the Corsa cult, but I gave him my opinion and Scorp gave his. I guess since our opinion happens to be different than your opinion then we're wrong.

:troll Have enough sense to realize that an opinion that happens to differ than yours is not a personal attack.
