Cooling System/Idle Problems
I have 1994 corvette LT1. Car runs fine when coolant temp. is below 200F.
But once it warms up the motor begins to rev up to 1500rpms and it feels like it wants to take off. Also my coolant temp. went all the way to 260F one day when I had the A/C on and was waiting at a drive-thru. I recently had the waterpump replaced (because it was leaking) and the fan switch sensor replaced also. But the problem presists. Can somebody please help me.

I had a similar problem, turned out to be a bad plug wire. But it could be a million things.
Try not to let your car get over 250 again.
Did you replace the Opti when you replaced the WP?
