The OBX system needs adjusting and modifications. If you do not have the tools or resources to perfect the fit.
This makes magnaflo the direct bolt-on winner.
Sound and performance the OBX system has a great low tone without drone.

Mostly QC. It would appear OBX just copied a system and made a jig? I believe other Mfg's install test fit. Then make a jig. end results true bolt on. Some elbows did not have true flush ends. Simply true the ends with a angle grinder, chamfer the edges with a file. Learned from my 1st cars install.
The OBX clamps suck! Toss them. Dixon makes HD T-clamps .60 thick.
After tweaking The complete system. Fit very nice. I was impressed with the sound.

I did not like the multi piece S-adapter fitment, also more possble leaks!
2nd car. I decided to modify the 2 -1/2 OBX header collector. Now 3" with a resonator straight section combo. I simply made my own S-pipe using left over stainless from my F-bodies supertrapp kit. The extra work is well worth the final end results. Excellent looking. And sounds great!
I must warn a shop will add more time. Plus material. making your install price higher.

A low, reverberating sound wave, harmonic frequency. around 1,500 - 2000 RPM's. Many systems including high end. Produce this noise. Some cars outrageously deafening.
